Exceptionally Flexible and Responsive

Smart Telecom has been providing high speed connectivity to ITnet/An Cheim since 2005 and we have found them to be exceptionally flexible and responsive to our needs while offering significant value to money. Since 2005 we have taken additional services from Smart to connect to our Data Centres in Dublin.

ITNet/ AnCheim provides the network connectivity to Ireland's thirteen Institutes of Technology in Tralee, Cork, Waterford, Carlow, Limerick, Galway and Mayo, Letterkenny, Dundalk, Sligo, Athlone, Tallaght, Blanchardstown and Dun Laoghaire as well as the Tipperary Institute. For many of these towns and cities Smart's offer represented the first time that alternative infrastructure had ever been available allowing for redundant connections.

The network that Smart has provided us with is a mixture of fibre optic connections and licensed wireless links and we have each Institute connected at 10Mbps into our own e-LAN.

When dealing with the Network Operations Centre (NOC), I have direct access into the guys that can resolve my problems without having to go through layers of low level support. The few issues that I have had have been quickly and expertly resolved.
